摘要
本文定义并研究了经典的均匀电子气（UEG），这是一个由无穷多电子组成的系统，其密度在空间各处恒定。UEG的定义不同于Jellium模型，后者具有正的恒定背景但对密度没有约束。我们证明，UEG出现在密度泛函理论中，在缓慢变化密度的极限下，使间接库仑能最小化。我们还构建了量子UEG，并将其与低密度下的经典UEG进行了比较。
