星暴及其对金属增丰的贡献

摘要
我回顾了星暴星系的性质，比较了局部星暴与更遥远星暴的性质，并考察了它们在星际介质和星系际-星系团内丛介质的金属增丰中的作用。金属丰度并非时间箭头，且与目前的认知相反，富金属星系也可以在高红移处被发现。
