Smartpixels:迈向带电粒子径迹参数与不确定度的片上传感器推理

摘要

径迹种子组合学长期以来一直是高能物理(HEP)中触发和离线计算的计算瓶颈,对于 HL-LHC 依然如此。下一代像素传感器将具有足够精细的粒度,能够根据像素簇的性质确定穿过它的带电粒子的角度信息。这种探测器技术直接改善了离线径迹重建的状况,但由于物理潜力的提升主要受限于最低级硬件触发的接受度,任何重大改进都尚未实现。我们将演示在单层硅内利用混合密度网络进行径迹角度和击中位置预测(包含误差),以及在 FPGA 和 ASIC 上硬件实现神经网络的进展与现状。
