摘要
nEXO是一项拟议中的实验,旨在吨量级液氙时间投影室(TPC)中搜寻Xe的无中微子双贝塔衰变()。nEXO TPC将配备电荷收集瓦片以构成阳极。本工作中,利用专用模拟软件包研究了该阳极设计的电荷重建性能。开发了多变量方法和深度神经网络,以区分模拟的信号与探测器材料微量天然放射性所产生的本底。这些模拟表明,采用电荷收集瓦片的nEXO TPC展现出区分信号与本底的良好能力。相对于nEXO预概念设计报告中估计的灵敏度,此处考虑的多变量(深度神经网络)方法将衰变的半衰期灵敏度估计值提高了约20(32)%。
