π⁰ 电生反应截面的 Rosenbluth 分离

摘要

本文展示了深度虚 π⁰ 电生反应截面测量结果,数据取自杰斐逊实验室 A 厅进行的 E07-007 实验,在 xBx_B=0.36 及三个不同 Q2Q^2 值(1.5 至 2 GeV2^2)下获取。采用 Rosenbluth 技术分离纵向与横向响应。结果表明,截面主要由横向分量主导,因而远未达到微扰量子色动力学预言的渐近极限。同时测得的干涉项 σLT\sigma_{LT} 提供了非零纵向贡献的迹象。结果与基于广义部分子分布(GPDs)领先扭度方法的多个模型进行了比较。特别地,与将核子手征奇(横量)GPDs 与扭度-3 介子分布振幅卷积来描述散射振幅的模型取得了较好的一致。因此,中性介子电生反应可能为通过实验获取横量 GPDs 提供令人振奋的可能性。
