氘上 exclusive 前向 $\pi^{\pm}$ 电磁产生中的分离响应函数

摘要

背景:在不同交换虚光子四动量平方 Q2Q^2 和不同四动量转移 tt 下测量的前向 exclusive 介子产生,可用于探测 QCD 从长距离处的介子-核子自由度向短尺度处的夸克-胶子自由度的过渡。π\pi^-π+\pi^+ 电磁产生中分离响应函数的比值特别具有信息量。横向光子的比值可能使这一过渡更容易被观测到,而纵向光子的比值提供了从电磁产生数据可靠提取 pion 形状因子所需的假设极点占优的关键验证。方法:使用 2.6–5.2 GeV 电子束和 Jefferson Lab Hall C 中的 HMS+SOS 光谱仪获取数据,在 W=1.95 GeVW=1.95\ \mathrm{GeV} 处中心 Q2Q^2 值为 0.6、1.0、1.6 GeV²,在 W=2.22 GeVW=2.22\ \mathrm{GeV}Q2=2.45 GeV2Q^2=2.45\ \mathrm{GeV}^2。在 ϕ\phiϵ\epsilon 上有显著覆盖,允许分离 σL,T,LT,TT\sigma_{L,T,LT,TT}。结果:σL\sigma_L 在小 t-t 处显示出明显的 pion 极点特征。相比之下,σT\sigma_Ttt 变化平坦得多。纵向/横向比值随 Q2Q^2tt 演化,在最高 Q2=2.45 GeV2Q^2=2.45\ \mathrm{GeV}^2 处显示 π\pi^- 产生相对于 π+\pi^+ 的轻微增强。横向光子的 π/π+\pi^-/\pi^+ 比值仅显示出小的 Q2Q^2 依赖性,随 tt 遵循一条近乎普适的曲线,在陡峭过渡到约 0.25 的值,与 s 通道夸克敲出一致。σTT/σT\sigma_{TT}/\sigma_T 比值也随 Q2Q^2 快速下降,与 s 通道螺旋度守恒定性一致。纵向光子的 π/π+\pi^-/\pi^+ 比值表明在 W=1.95 GeVW=1.95\ \mathrm{GeV} 处存在小的同位旋标量污染,与我们在这些运动学条件下对 pion 形状因子的早期测定中观察到的结果一致。
