芯片行业持续推进和扩张现代计算系统,导致更复杂的多核处理器。相反,学术项目因资源有限面临可扩展性挑战,凸显了需要开源框架以促进创新和知识共享的需求。最近涌现出多个开源方案,提供灵活且可扩展的设计,但未能满足现代高性能计算(HPC)应用的性能需求。本项目提出REPTILES,一个基于OpenPiton的开源RISC-V 多核框架。REPTILES将多个Sargantana内核与OpenPiton的存储层次相互连接。此外,我们介绍了为提高HPC应用性能而纳入Sargantana和OpenPiton设计中的新特性。我们展示REPTILES在可扩展性方面具有合适的水平,以4核平均实现3.1倍加速。此外,表明Sargantana的新特性在9.3倍的向量加法基准中提升了性能。
