薄膜铌酸锂波导中材料损耗的降低

摘要

薄膜铌酸锂在从单光子源到高带宽数据通信系统的可扩展应用中已展现出前景。然而,下一代高性能经典与量子器件的实现,需要比当前最先进水平(\sim1000万)低得多的光学损耗。遗憾的是,离子切片薄膜铌酸锂的材料限制尚未被探究,因此尚不清楚如何在该平台上实现高品质因子。在此,我们评估薄膜铌酸锂光子平台在通信波长处的材料限制品质因子可高达 Q1.8×108Q\approx 1.8\times10^{8},对应于 0.2 dB/m 的传播损耗。
