强子对撞机上$\chi_{cJ}$产生的QCD辐射修正

摘要

为澄清粲偶素产生中现有理论无法解释Tevatron上观测到的χcJ\chi_{cJ} (J=0,1,2)截面及比值Rχc=σχc2/σχc10.75R_{\chi_c}=\sigma_{\chi_{c2}}/\sigma_{\chi_{c1}}\approx 0.75(与自旋计数值5/3相反)这一突出问题,我们研究了非相对论QCD中完整的次领头阶辐射修正,发现3PJ[1]^3P_J^{[1]}的次领头阶贡献在高pTp_T下比领头阶更重要,且3P1[1]^3P_1^{[1]}3P2[1]^3P_2^{[1]}下降更慢,这为RχcR_{\chi_c}之谜提供了自然解释。通过拟合RχcR_{\chi_c},预测的χcJ\chi_{cJ}截面与数据一致。结果表明色八重态贡献至关重要,从而为重夸克偶素产生机制提供了独特检验。估计χcJ\chi_{cJ}对瞬发J/ψJ/\psi产生的馈入贡献显著,在pT=20p_T=20 GeV时约为30-40%。还预测了LHC上χcJ\chi_{cJ} (J=0,1,2)的产生。
