NGC 7469 X射线变异性的主成分分析

我们应用主成分分析(PCA)来研究塞弗特1星系NGC 7469中X射线连续谱的变异性。PCA技术用于分离多个数据集之间导致变异性的线性成分;该技术常用于光学光谱分析,但很少应用于活动星系核的X射线光谱学。我们对NGC 7469的一次150 ks XMM-Newton观测的0.3-10 keV EPIC数据运行PCA算法,描述了提取出的光谱成分,并评估了PCA技术在理解活动星系核X射线连续谱方面的效用。
