Kondo绝缘体SmB6中抗压的中间价态

摘要
使用共振X射线发射光谱（RXES）确定了Kondo绝缘体SmB6中f电子占据数的压力依赖关系。施加的压力降低了f占据数，但令人惊讶的是，该材料在至少35 GPa的压力下仍保持显著的二价特征。因此，电阻激活能隙的闭合和磁序的开始并非由整数价态的稳定化驱动。在整个压力范围内，该材料保持非常稳定的中间价态，这原则上可以支持非平凡的能带结构。
