在单根 GaAs/GaAlAs 微柱腔的零维态上演示了极化激元激光。在非共振激发下，测得的极化激元基态占据数高达 。改变空间激发条件，观察到多个极化激元激光模式之间的竞争，从而排除了玻色 - 爱因斯坦凝聚。随着极化激元态占据数的增加，发射蓝移是半光半物质极化激元激光模式内自相互作用的特征。
