摘要
标准模型数据表明，量子引力真空应该容纳两个关键要素：三个手征代的存在及其在SO(10)手征16表示中的嵌入。Z2XZ2轨形是产生这些性质的微扰杂化弦真空的例子。本文讨论了在M理论的非微扰框架下对这些模型的探索。这些构造的一个共同预测是，由于GUT对称性的Wilson线破缺，存在超重亚稳态。未来几年的宇宙线实验为这类态的现象学提供了一个令人兴奋的实验窗口。
