LHCb μ子探测系统的性能

摘要

本文研究了 LHCb μ子探测系统在 LHC 以 s=7\sqrt{s} = 7 TeV 能量运行的 2010 年完整数据采集期间的性能及其稳定性。描述了利用 LHC 提供的最初碰撞数据进行的探测器设置优化和时间校准。将运行期间在各种亮度和束流操作条件下测得的粒子率与模拟预期值进行了比较。评估了探测器的空间和时间对准、室效率、时间分辨率和簇大小。发现探测器性能符合或优于规格要求。值得注意的是,总效率远高于设计要求。
