在对源或无序进行平均后，扩散场的互相关会给出两个被动传感器之间的 Green 函数。该技术被应用于模拟地壳中地震波的开放散射板中的弹性超声波。结果表明，Rayleigh 波的重建依赖于弹性板的散射特性。本文特别关注体波与 Rayleigh 波耦合的具体作用，这可能导致诸如扩散区中持续的时间不对称等意外现象。
