参与式研究作为通向社区知情、性别公平机器翻译的路径

摘要
近年来，非二元性别者在公共话语中的可见度显著上升。相应地，对性别公平语言的考量已超越男/女的二元观念。然而，语言技术尤其是机器翻译（MT）仍受二元性别偏见困扰。从纯技术视角提出超越二元的性别公平 MT 方案，可能不足以适配不同目标用户群体，最坏情况下甚至会导致性别误标。为应对该挑战，我们提出一种基于参与式行动研究的方法与案例研究，将经验专家（即酷儿与非二元性别者）、译员及 MT 专家纳入 MT 设计过程。该案例研究聚焦德语，其核心发现包括：避免身份否定的语境依赖性至关重要，以及用户对可定制化 MT 方案的诉求。
