近四十年前，Phil Anderson 引入了负 U 中心来解释大多数玻璃和非晶半导体呈抗磁性的事实。这篇论文影响力深远，但当然算不上 Phil 最著名的作品之一。然而，聚焦于此使我们能让年轻一代重新了解 Phil 的另一项贡献，并以此为契机讨论一些令我们持续着迷的前瞻性扩展。
