OzDES 反响映射计划:六年 CIV 分析的时延恢复可靠性

摘要

我们提出了为分析 OzDES 反响映射样本而开发的统计方法。为进行该统计分析,我们创建了一套可定制的模拟,以模仿 OzDES 样本中每个源的特征。这些特征包括:测光与光谱光变曲线的变率、测量不确定度以及观测节奏。通过模拟 OzDES 样本中含 CIV 发射线的源,我们制定了一套标准,依据不同恢复方法间的一致性、不确定度的大小以及模拟中假阳性出现的频率,对恢复出的时间时延的可靠性进行评级。这些标准被应用于模拟光变曲线,其结果用于估计所得半径-光度关系的质量。我们使用三个质量等级(金、银、铜)对结果分级。对于三个质量样本,输入的斜率在 1σ1\sigma 内被恢复,其中金标准具有最低弥散,恢复出的 R-L 关系斜率为 0.454±0.0160.454\pm 0.016,输入斜率为 0.47。未来的工作将把这些方法应用于包含 771 个 AGN 的整个 OzDES 样本。
