摘要
今年是 TREC 神经跨语言信息检索（NeuCLIR）赛道的第一年，旨在研究神经方法对跨语言信息检索的影响。今年赛道的主要任务为使用英文表达的查询对中文、波斯文或俄文新闻专线文档进行 ad hoc 排序检索。主题采用标准 TREC 流程开发，不同之处在于，由某一语言标注者开发的主题在另一语言上评估时由不同标注者评判。共有十二支队伍提交了 172 次总计运行。
