钒尖晶石中电荷涨落诱导的轨道无序

摘要
受近期对钒尖晶石 VO 的实验启发，这些实验表明随着阳离子尺寸减小，电子离域程度增加，我们研究了多轨道哈伯德哈密顿量在强耦合与中等耦合区间轨道有序（OO）的演化。莫特绝缘态的基本磁有序导致沿铁磁键的电荷涨落增强，从而迅速抑制了轨道有序。在转变点，轨道双占据率相当低，表明当轨道自由度变得无序时，系统处于强耦合与中等耦合区间的交叉区域。
