DESI 2024 重子声学振荡的最优重构

摘要

重子声学振荡(BAO)提供了一个稳健的标准尺,可通过星系成团性测量宇宙的膨胀历史。密度场重构是目前广泛采用的提高 BAO 探测精度和准确性的程序。为了寻找 DESI 2024 星系 BAO 分析中使用的最优重构设置,我们在 DESI 第一年观测(DR1)的盲测数据以及模拟 DESI DR1 目标样本预期成团和选择性质的 mock 上进行了测试,评估了重构后 BAO 约束对分析配置不同选择的敏感性。总体而言,我们发现 BAO 约束在重构过程的多个方面均保持稳健,包括平滑尺度的选择、红移空间畸变的处理、光纤分配的不完备性以及 BAO 模型的参数化。我们还展示了 DESI 在大尺度结构星表揭盲之前所进行的一系列测试,以评估端到端星系 BAO 管线的成熟度。
