X射线亮度正常银河系天体的本质

摘要
Chandra和XMM-Newton等硬X射线选中源的多波段观测显著改善了我们对硬X射线背景中负责天体的认识。一个意想不到的发现是发现一类在2-10 keV的X射线flux约为10^{-14} erg cm^{-2} s^{-1}时,光学沉默、X射线亮度较高的银河系天体。我们呈现了在XMM-Newton和Chandra观测场域中偶然发现的几类天体的多波段观测初步结果,并在更长的波段进行深入研究。
