HELLAS2XMM巡天源的光学证认

摘要

我们展示了使用XMM-Newton进行的高能大面积巡天(HELLAS2XMM)源的光学证认初步结果。该巡天覆盖约3平方度的天区,2-10 keV通量极限为7 x 10^-15 erg cm-2 s-1(Baldi & Molendi这些会议录,Baldi et al. 2001)。该巡天在大面积上的良好灵敏度使我们能够确认并扩展先前Chandra关于在2-10 keV通量约为10-14 erg cm-2 s-1时出现的一类X射线明亮但光学暗淡星系的结果。尽管统计样本仍然相当有限,但似乎在这些X射线通量下,这类星系的比例与窄线AGN相似甚至更高。
