关于无穷多个普适基于树的网络的存在性

摘要

在具有nn个叶节点的集合XX上,如果XX上的任意有根二叉系统发生树均可作为其基树,则称基于树的网络是普适的。Francis 与 Steel 证明了在n=3n=3情形下存在XX上的普适基于树的网络,并询问一般情况下此类网络是否存在。我们通过证明对任意n>1n>1均存在无穷多个普适基于树的网络解决了该问题。
