VERITAS 对未证认伽马射线源 TeV J2032+4130 的观测

TeV J2032+4130 是在甚高能(VHE; GeV)波段发现的第一个未证认源,在任何其他波段均无明显的对应体。它也是首个在 VHE 伽马射线中被观测到的延展源。自其被发现以来,各波段均开展了密集的观测活动以理解该天体的本质,但收效有限。本文报告了基于 VERITAS(甚高能辐射成像望远镜阵列系统)实验 2009 年至 2012 年所采集的 48.2 小时数据对 TeV J2032+4130 的深度观测结果。该源以 8.7 个标准差()被探测到,并表现为延展且不对称,其长轴宽度为 ,短轴宽度为 。其能谱可由微分幂律谱很好地描述,指数为 ,在 1 TeV 处的归一化常数为 。我们在多波段场景下解释了这些结果,这些场景尤其支持脉冲星风云(PWN)的解释。
