银道面中的极端粒子加速器:HESS J1826−130

未证认的甚高能(VHE;E > 0.1 TeV)γ 射线源 HESS J1826−130 由高能立体望远镜系统(HESS)在银道面中发现。对 215 小时 HESS 数据的分析揭示了来自 HESS J1826−130 的稳态 γ 射线流,其呈扩展状,半宽为 0.21° ± 0.02°_stat ± 0.05°_sys。该源能谱最好用幂律函数(谱指数 Γ = 1.78 ± 0.10_stat ± 0.20_sys,在 15.2^{+5.5}_{-3.2} TeV 处指数截断)或折断幂律(低于和高于 E_br = 11.2 ± 2.7 TeV 的能量分别有 Γ_1 = 1.96 ± 0.06_stat ± 0.20_sys、Γ_2 = 3.59 ± 0.69_stat ± 0.20_sys)拟合。来自 HESS J1826−130 的 VHE 流受到明亮邻近脉冲星风云(PWN)HESS J1825−137 扩展辐射的污染,尤其在能谱低端。与 PSR J1826−1256 相关的 HESS J1826−130 VHE 辐射轻子起源情形受到我们能谱与形态学分析的质疑。在强子框架下,考虑到 HESS J1826−130 周围致密气体区的性质,该源能谱将意味着一个能够将母粒子族加速至 ≳200 TeV 的天体物理对象。我们的结果也在多波段背景下进行讨论,兼顾邻近超新星遗迹(SNRs)、分子云以及在射电、X 射线和 TeV 能量处探测到的对应体之存在。
