未认证TeV源HESS J0632+057长期伽马射线和X射线变化的证据

HESS J0632+057是仅有的两个在实验分辨率内表现为点状的未认证甚高能伽马射线源之一。它可能与大质量Be星MWC 148有关,并被提出类似于已知的TeV双星系统,如LS I +61 303或LS 5039。VERITAS在2006年、2008年和2009年对HESS J0632+057进行了31小时的观测。在这些观测期间,未从HESS J0632+057方向探测到能量高于1 TeV的伽马射线的显著信号。根据VERITAS数据,推导出的流量上限为蟹状星云流量的1.1%。VERITAS未探测到以99.993%的概率排除了HESS J0632+057是一个稳定伽马射线发射体的可能性。与Swift XRT同时进行的X射线观测显示,在1-10 keV范围内,其流量比HESS J0632+057早期的X射线观测结果高出1.8±0.4倍。伽马射线和X射线流量的变化支持该天体是一个发射伽马射线的双星系统的解释。
