AGILE卫星对伽马射线暴的观测

自运行初期以来,AGILE卫星一直在观测伽马射线暴(GRB),其能量范围可能跨越六个数量级。在硬X射线波段,SuperAGILE成像仪每月定位约一个GRB,并每月在其视场外探测到1-2个GRB。Mini-Calorimeter在350keV-100MeV能量范围内每周探测约一个GRB,以及若干其他极短时标的暂现源。事实上,首次在短至300微秒的时间窗口上实现的星载MCAL触发逻辑特别适用于极短暴的探测。对30MeV-30GeV范围灵敏的伽马射线成像探测器(GRID)已确认探测到三个GRB(GRB080514B、GRB090401B和GRB090510),以及一些显著性较低的候选体。此外,目前正在搜索GRID视场内其他航天器定位的所有GRB的可能探测,并提供了上限。本文回顾了AGILE观测GRB的现状,特别强调了高能和短时标探测。
