AGILE卫星对特殊事件GRB 221009A的伽马射线探测

摘要

来自爆发性宇宙事件的MeV-GeV范围伽马射线辐射,对理解中子星与黑洞形成相关物理过程极具价值。本文报道AGILE卫星在MeV-GeV能段对长时标特殊伽马暴GRB 221009A的探测。AGILE星载探测器在该暴初始关键阶段对其具有良好曝光。prompt相的硬X射线/MeV辐射持续数百秒,最强辐射出现于初始触发后200至300秒间。AGILE在prompt与早期余辉相直至10,000秒探测到极强GeV伽马射线辐射。时间分辨光谱分析显示随时间变化的MeV峰值辐射与强烈的幂律GeV辐射同时出现,并持续至余辉相。prompt相中极强MeV辐射与高度非热且硬化的GeV辐射共存是GRB 221009A的显著特征。该事件在prompt相呈现光谱不同的MeV与GeV辐射,最可能由不同位置发生的物理机制产生。AGILE观测提供了关于GRB 221009A早期阶段的关键通量与光谱伽马射线信息,而此期间亦有TeV范围辐射的报道。
