GRB 221009A:被称为“波浪”暴走的伽玛射线脉冲

摘要

我们对 Fermi 大范围望远镜(LAT)对 GRB 221009A(人类检测到的最亮伽玛暴)数据的完整分析进行了报告。该暴射电信号中检测到的高能(超过 30 MeV)辐射,在 1 秒前发生, precedes 了触发 Fermi 伽马射线暴监测器(GBM)的低能(小于 10 MeV)脉冲,这与其他 GRB 中观察到的现象一致。GRB 221009A 的提示相位持续了数百秒之久。由于其极其明亮,我们识别出了一个 64 秒的坏时间间隔(BTI),该间隔是由于硬 X 射线和软伽玛射线的极高能量流造成的,在该时间段内,事件重建效率较差,死时间比例较高。后期发射随时间呈幂律衰减,但对前 450 秒内的后期发射外推,表明辐射开始于提示相位。我们还发现,LAT 检测到的高能事件与单极辐射机制不相容,在提示相位期间,更可能与一种被认定为单极自颤辐射(SSC)的额外成分有关。一项在 GBM 触发后 33 千秒内由 LAT 检测到的显著 400 GeV 伽玛射线,方向上与 GRB 221009A 的位置一致,这难以解释为 SSC 或 TeV 电磁级联的产物,其来源所致的过程尚不确定。鉴于其接近及其强大的能量特性,GRB 221009A 是一个极其罕见的事件。
