't Hooft-Polyakov磁单极子的数值与渐近分析

摘要
我们对静态、球对称的SU(2)磁单极子方程进行了高精度数值分析。使用多重打靶法和多域谱方法，在较大的β区间内，磁单极子的质量作为β=M_H/M_W的函数被相当精确地获得（M_H和M_W分别表示Higgs场和规范场的质量）。数值结果促使我们重新审视并随后修正了文献中先前关于β≪1时磁单极子质量的渐近分析。
