我们报告了下一代凌星巡天发现的一颗新的超短周期热木星。NGTS-6b绕其恒星运行的周期为21.17小时，质量和半径分别为\mjup\ 和 \rjup\，行星体密度为0.711~g~cm。与目前已知的少量超短周期热木星一致，该行星似乎围绕一颗富金属恒星（[Fe/H]~dex）运行。光致蒸发模型表明，在系统演化的9.6 Gyr过程中，该行星应已损失了5%的气态大气。NGTS-6b增加了超短周期气态巨行星的小但不断增长的列表，并将帮助我们理解主导这一群体的形成和演化机制。
