NGTS-8b 与 NGTS-9b:两颗非膨胀热木星

摘要

我们报告由下一代凌星巡天(NGTS)发现的两颗热木星 NGTS-8b 和 NGTS-9b。它们分别绕转一颗 V = 13.68 的 K0V 恒星(Teff = 5241 +/- 50 K,周期 2.49970 天)和一颗 V = 12.80 的 F8V 恒星(Teff = 6330 +/- 130 K,周期 4.43527 天)。凌星由 SAAO 1.0-m 和 Euler 望远镜的后续测光观测独立验证,并利用 HARPS、FEROS 和 CORALIE 径向速度我们给出了行星参数。NGTS-8b 的质量为 0.93 +0.04 -0.03 MJ,半径为 1.09 +/- 0.03 RJ,与木星相近,密度为 0.89 +0.08 -0.07 g cm-3。这与 NGTS-9b 形成对比,后者质量为 2.90 +/- 0.17 MJ,半径为 1.07 +/- 0.06 RJ,密度大得多,为 2.93 +0.53 -0.49 g cm-3。从统计上看,这些行星参数将两者置于预期呈现大于预测半径的 regime。然而,我们发现它们的半径与理论非膨胀模型的预测一致。
