CdZnTe探测器为介子原子测量带来的新机遇

摘要

我们展示了SIDDHARTA-2合作组在DAΦNE对撞机上使用准半球形CdZnTe探测器所进行的测试。该探测器在宽能量范围内具有优异的室温能量分辨率和效率,表明此探测器技术是研究中等及重质量介子原子辐射跃迁的理想选择。CdZnTe探测器首次安装于加速器环境中,以测试其本底抑制能力,这是通过利用SIDDHARTA-2亮度监测器实现的。我们获取了在主环中有束流循环时用^{241}Am源测量的能谱,并在60 keV处达到6%的峰分辨率、在511 keV处达到2.2%的峰分辨率。本底抑制因子约为\simeq10^{5-6}量级,为未来使用CdZnTe探测器规划介子原子测量开辟了可能。
