配备4He气体靶的完整SIDDHARTA-2实验装置的首次测试

摘要

在本文中,我们呈现于 INFN 弗拉斯卡蒂国家实验室 DAΦNE 对撞机相互作用区完整安装 SIDDHARTA-2 实验装置后的首次测试。在开展测量 K 介子氘 2p→1s 跃迁的首个实验前,需要对背景抑制(主要由 K 介子触发系统实现)进行精确评估。此次运行于2022年5月4日至26日采用 4He 气体靶进行,证实了在2021年以缩减版装置与不同机器条件下所获得的 10^5 抑制因子。这一重要成果促使向靶室充入氘并开始 K 介子氘 2p→1s 跃迁的测量活动。
