PSI的nEDM实验:数据获取策略与数据集灵敏度

摘要

我们报告了用于在保罗·谢勒研究所优化中子电偶极矩搜索灵敏度的策略。测量是在我们装置核心的单个腔室内储存的超冷中子上进行的。一台共存的汞磁强计与一组铯磁强计用于监测磁场,该磁场由一系列精密场线圈控制和整形。除了装置本身的细节外,我们描述了在所实现的最高统计灵敏度与对系统效应的必要控制之间达成适当平衡所选定的路径。由此产生的不可约灵敏度优于 1*10-26 ecm。本文稿以单一连贯的图景总结了合作组最近出版物的结果。
