CUORICINO实验中的μ子本底

核实验 2014-11-20 v3

摘要

为更好地理解宇宙线μ子对CUORICINO本底的贡献,在CUORICINO实验场地安装了10个塑料闪烁体探测器,并在实验最后3个月期间运行。通过这些测量,在无中微子双β衰变感兴趣区获得了宇宙线诱发本底的上限为0.0021 counts/(keV kg yr)(95%置信水平)。测量结果还与Geant4模拟进行了比较。
