摘要
对EDELWEISS暗物质搜寻中μ子诱导本底进行了专门分析,所用数据集采集于2009年和2010年。测得莫达讷地下实验室(LSM)的地下总μ子通量为 muons/m/d。μ子反符合探测器的模块化设计允许重建μ子轨迹,从而确定LSM中随角度变化的μ子通量。结果与蒙特卡洛模拟及早期测量均吻合良好。将μ子反符合探测器与锗探测器阵列的声子和电离信号同步,可识别μ子诱导事件。提取了所有μ子诱导事件率和类WIMP事件率。经反符合剔除后,EDELWEISS-II暗物质搜寻中剩余可接受的μ子诱导中子率确定为 (90%置信水平)。基于这些结果,对EDELWEISS-3预期曝光量3000 kg·d的μ子诱导本底预期为个事件。
