约束各向同性宇宙双极性

摘要

宇宙双极性(CB)是光子线性极化平面在传播期间的旋转。这种效应是标准电磁学扩展的奇偶违背性的探针,若要探测其作为暗物质或暗能量的新宇宙场。已变为惯常使用宇宙微波背景(CMB)极化数据来探测此类现象。最近对Planck和WMAP数据的分析提供了在0.30.3^\circ幅度处约2.42.43.6σ3.6\sigma水平上检测到各向同性CB角的线索。在本工作中,我们探索LiteBIRD在约束此类效应方面的能力,考虑仪器双极性角等更相关的系统效应。我们构建了五个半独立的管道并测试这些管道针对四个不同模拟集,这些模拟集在非理想因素方面呈递增复杂度。所有管道都被证明具有鲁棒性,能够在所考虑的所有情况下返回预期的CB角值。我们发现CB估计的不确定性随着更复杂的模拟而增加。然而,对于考虑仪器双极性角的管道而言,这一趋势不那么显著。对于分析的最复杂的情况,我们发现LiteBIRD将能够在0.30.3^\circ的统计显著性范围内检测到CB角,其显著性范围从5513σ13 \sigma取决于所采用的管道,其中后者不确定性对应于约0.020.02^\circ的总误差预算。
