我们通过大规模 Monte Carlo 模拟研究了尺寸达 的 XY 自旋玻璃，温度降至低于先前工作中发现的转变温度。较大尺寸的数据比较小尺寸的数据表现出更临界的边缘行为，表明下临界维度接近且可能等于三。我们发现自旋与手性表现得非常相似。我们还讨论了模拟中“过弛豫”与“Metropolis”扫描的最优比例。
