摘要

在过去几十年中,业余天文学家对行星天文学领域专业出版物的贡献呈指数级增长。在此,我们回顾了该领域中专业与业余天文学家之间富有成效且经常促成科学出版物的不同合作领域。我们讨论了业余天文学家在不同感兴趣领域中用于收集科学数据的典型仪器、探测器、软件和方法论。文中探讨了业余贡献在行星及星际物质监测、小行星与彗星表征,以及柯伊伯带天体和系外行星物理性质测定等方面的作用。
