系外行星探测与表征的仪器技术

摘要
在天体物理学的任何领域，新仪器的影响都没有在系外行星领域那样巨大。1995 年之前，我们要关于系外行星的知识主要基于哲学和理论考量。随后的几年则以高精度仪器带来的惊人发现为标志。最近，新技术的出现将焦点从探测转移到了系外行星的表征上。下一代设施将产生更多互补数据，从而带来对系外行星特征的全面认识，并通过与理论模型的比较，增进对行星形成的理解。
