系外行星领域正迅速从仅探测新行星和测量其最基本参数（如质量、半径和轨道构型）扩展到首次测量其大气特征，例如温度、化学成分、反照率、动力学和结构。本文将概述截至2010年9月系外行星大气的一些主要发现，首先来自太空观测，而在过去两年中也来自地面观测。
