基于 XENON100 100 个有效天数据对非弹性暗物质的限制

摘要
XENON100 实验近期完成了一次暗物质探测运行,获取了 2010 年 1 月至 6 月间 100.9 个有效天的数据。分析了 48 kg 有效体积内能量范围在 8.4 至 44.6 keVnr 之间的事件。在预定义的信号区域共发现三个事件,与 (1.8 ± 0.6) 个事件的预期本底相符。基于此分析,我们给出了非弹性暗物质的 WIMP-核子散射截面限制。利用现有数据,我们能够在 90% 置信水平上排除所观测到的 DAMA/LIBRA 年调制现象源于非弹性暗物质与碘散射的解释。
