有观点认为,与探测器靶核发生非弹性散射的暗物质粒子可以解释DAMA调制信号(被解释为粒子暗物质的证据)与CDMS-II和XENON10零结果之间的明显不兼容性。非弹性相互作用暗物质的预测包括低能事件的抑制,以及在更高核反冲等效能量处的一群核反冲事件。这与弹性相互作用情况下众所周知的指数衰减谱预期形成鲜明对比。我们提出了一项新的XENON10暗物质搜索数据分析,将核反冲等效能量扩展到E_nr=75 keV。我们的结果排除了非弹性相互作用暗物质模型中先前允许参数空间的一个重要区域。特别地,发现暗物质粒子质量m_χ≳150 GeV是不利的。
