在 companion paper 中，我们测量了同调类并计算了最优同调基。本文解决了两个相关问题，即定位和稳定性。我们通过最小化特定目标函数的圈来定位一个类。我们探讨了三种不同的目标函数，即体积、直径和半径。我们表明，使用前两种函数计算最小圈是 NP 难的。我们还证明了 companion paper 中定义的测量值相对于相关空间几何形状的微小变化是稳定的。
