人们越来越多地基于在线社交媒体上消费的信息形成观点。因此，理解社交媒体上哪种类型的内容吸引人们注意并驱动讨论至关重要。本文关注在线讨论。我们能否预测在线讨论中哪些评论和什么内容获得最高关注？这些内容如何因社区而异？为此，我们对 Reddit 进行了独特研究，涉及来自11个具有不同属性的流行子版块的大规模评论样本。我们引入了大量情感、相关性、内容分析特征，包括一些为 reddit 定制的新型特征。通过对所选子版块的比较分析，我们展示我们的模型能够以高精度检索帖子下的顶级回复。此外，我们通过详细分析区分不同社区中高评分帖子的因素来解释我们的发现，这些社区在主题和风格特异性、受众和 moderation 程度等维度上有所不同。
