CHIME Pathfinder阵列的全息波束映射

摘要

加拿大氢强度映射实验(CHIME) Pathfinder射电望远镜目前正在对北半球400至800 MHz频段进行巡天。通过绘制红移21 cm谱线发射在z0.82.5z \sim 0.8-2.5之间的中性氢大尺度结构,CHIME将有助于我们理解暗能量。明亮的天体物理前景必须与中性氢信号分离,这项任务需要精确表征偏振望远镜波束。利用DRAO John A. Galt 26米望远镜,我们开发了一种用于映射CHIME Pathfinder波束的全息仪器和技术。我们报告了该仪器的状态以及此项工作的初步结果。
