摘要
本文报告了使用部署在无人机有效载荷上的射频校准源对CHIME望远镜进行束测量的结果。在试飞期间,脉冲校准源与望远镜同步到GPS时间,使能够对一个CHIME圆柱面反射器的完整 可见性矩阵进行原位背景减法。我们利用自相关产品估计主束宽度和束心位置,并将其与太阳穿越测量和全息测量(在天空上重合时)进行比较。我们发现,无人机、太阳和全息数据在频率以及两个空间坐标上都具有相似的束参数演化。本文首次对大型圆柱形射电干涉仪进行基于无人机的束测量。此文所述的独特分析和仪器为CHIME等实验的近场测量奠定了基础。
