摘要
作为国际天文学联合会（IAU）重组的一部分，第4委员会（历表）在2015年8月IAU大会后不复存在。本文简要讨论了在委员会96年历史中，影响并被委员会工作所影响的基础天文学的一些发展。文章还介绍了一些国家机构的出版物笔记，这些机构在委员会使命中发挥了重要作用。本文内容提交给委员会的最终报告，将出现在IAU Transactions Vol. XXIX-A。
